There’s a reason Mount Shuksan is one of the most photographed peaks in North America. Take in unbelievable close-up views of Mount Baker and the North Cascades.
This is our ultimate climbing course. Push yourself physically and mentally while further developing your mountaineering and alpine climbing skills.
This course covers advanced technical skills in trad climbing, leading on glaciers, and advanced mountain travel techniques. After completion, you will be able to move through the mountains in a variety of different terrains of varying complexity.
This four-day course is for those who have completed our mountaineering advanced course as well as our advanced rock climbing course, or equivalent professional training.
This is a four-day course held in Boston Basin in the North Cascades or Mt. Shuksan. It includes a mandatory online pre-trip meeting two evenings before the course start date.

Out-of-Town Participants
We recommend that anyone flying into Seattle arrive as early as possible on the day before the trip. We also recommend you do not book a return flight until late (red-eye) on the last day of the trip, or the following morning.
