One important responsibility of traveling on a rope team is to be prepared for rescue on glaciated terrain. This 2-day course will take you to the next level with the technical skills.

Baker’s North Ridge is compiled in many guidebooks as a Cascade classic. Climb the immaculate steep snow and ice ridge to the 10,778-foot summit. Or take the 2-day south route, which is a great introduction to glacier mountaineering.

There’s a reason Mount Shuksan is one of the most photographed peaks in North America. Take in unbelievable close-up views of Mount Baker and the North Cascades.

The East Ridge offers beginners a stimulating ridge climb that will take you to the summit of Eldorado Peak.

Explore one of the five volcanos in Washington state. This remote volcano is an intermediate hike that involves snowfields and glaciers to reach the summit.

Standing at 7,969 feet tall, Mount Olympus is the tallest peak in Olympic National Park. It’s a diverse climb full of hiking, snow/glacier travel, and rock climbing with a 35-mile round trip.

The North Ridge Route is an adventurous route up a Cascade classic with extensive travel over 3 glaciers and a rocky ridge traverse to the top.

The West Ridge ranks among one of the purest ridges in the Cascades.

Mount Triumph is a lesson in Cascades alpinism. It requires a long approach which involves climbing to a pass, descending to an alpine lake, and back to another col, where camp is made.

Mt. Goode’s Northeast Buttress route is guarded by 15 miles of varied terrain, ranging from cruiser trail, steep slabs, and a temperamental glacier.

The Tooth is included in Nelson and Potterfield’s Selected Climbs in the Cascades Volume 1 and 2. Regardless of the route you choose, you’ll enjoy this alpine climb.

Chair Peak, located in Snoqualmie Pass is an easy day climb located not far from Seattle. Check out the summer and winter options that are available.
