Renting can be a great way to try out various gear before making an investment, or to reduce the need for ownership, especially for items you may only use a few times.

Kaf Adventures has 2025 Petzl gear available to rent for Mt. Hood Skills Courses and Summit Climbs only:
Crampons - $25 per day
Ice Axe - $15 per day
Helmet - $15 per day
Glacier harness - $25 per day
You will receive access to a rental form upon registration for your course or climb. Quantities are limited, so sooner is better, with a deadline of 48 hours before your trip. We will have the equipment ready for you at the mountain on the day of the climb.
We do not rent mountaineering boots, so if you need those we recommend getting both boots and crampons elsewhere.
