Guided snowshoing is a custom experience designed specifically for you and your group. These private trips provide the perfect opportunity to explore the endless breathtaking and diverse terrain within Washington’s National Parks and Wilderness areas at the level of difficulty most suitable for you.

Experience the Cascades in all of their snow-capped beauty. Embrace the solitude and tranquility of our winter wonderland as you hear the snow cruch beneath your feet and feel the crisp mountain air on your cheeks. Keep an eye out for frozen waterfalls, snow-draped trees, and perhaps some wildlife gliding over the surface of the snow. Our professional instructors will share their knowledge and passion for local winter ecology while ensuring your group feels safe and comfortable throughout the day.

The exact itinerary will be specific to your trip, but a typical day is as follows:

Meet your instructor at your designated meeting location at 8am Your instructor will ensure everyone has what they need for the day, then you will all caravan to the trailhead.

Upon arrival, your instructor will assess avalanche conditions and go over general winter travel safety and proper snowshoe technique. You will snowshoe for most of the day with stops for pictures, snacks, relaxation, nature talks, and lunch. You can expect to be back to the trailhead around 4pm.

Let us know your goals! Because this trip is booked on a custom basis, any skill level can be accommodated and an appropriate objective will be selected for the group.

  • Any backcountry experience will enhance your ability to learn, but is not required.
  • Ability to hike for 4 hours and ascend 1000' with a 20 lb pack.
  • Upon registration, you will receive a confirmation email full of important information - make sure to read it thoroughly!
  • 3-5 days before your course you will receive an email from your guide containing even more details, including the exact meetup location and time.
  • Leading up to your course, make sure to eat healthy, drink extra water, and get plenty of sleep.
  • Please arrive on time and ready to go at your pre-arranged meeting location. To get the most of our day, we'd like to begin right at the designated start time.
  • All along the way, our office team is available via email or phone to answer any questions you may have.
